The primary school/specially adapted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation covers 21 primary schools as well as specially adapted primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4,500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes leisure centers.

Job Description

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and course plan. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual prerequisites. In teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in big and small things. You work based on proven experience and research and strive for students to achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' performance and development.

You have contact and collaborate with guardians as well as other actors outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are met. Together with your work team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• You are a certified teacher for grades F-3 with the qualification to teach within the relevant operation. You have broad subject competence to teach in the subjects included in the lower primary school's mission, including Swedish, mathematics, English, as well as natural science and social studies subjects (NO and SO).
• You have good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish.
• Experience of working within pedagogical operations is meritorious.

Personal Competencies:

• You organize and plan your work well, working according to a clear process where you complete what you have started. You set timeframes and meet deadlines.
• You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create and maintain relationships.
• You work well with other people. You relate to them in a listening and flexible way. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through a goal-oriented focus on the common goal.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Start date August 10th or as agreed.
Working hours: Holiday employment
